Wonderful stay!
fresh food quick ride
I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet. The food was fresh! the hotel staff arranged a tuk-tuk quickly when a driver canceled. The arranged ride.

underwhelming stay, overpriced transport
inflated prices transportation issue
the location has beautiful views, i will give it that.
this hotel has a serious issue with transportation. it seems they have an arrangement with local taxi services that allows them to inflate prices significantly. i felt trapped, paying nearly ten times the usual rate for a ride into the city. also, the promised alternatives were not available, a real disappointment.

luxury resort friendly staff isolated location terrible food
I had a really nice time at the hotel. The pool is lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They are amazing!!! The whole place reminded me of a luxury resort. The room was bright and clean. the beds were comfortable.
The hotel is isolated. When you check in, you need a driver or tuk-tuk to go to the center. I found the road very dangerous and uphill for 2k. The buffet food is terrible and served cold. I had to pay for the buffet, but my husband could not eat it.

spacious rooms gorgeous rooms amazing views cute staff hand towel met request limited breakfast salty food
I found the pool area to be a real highlight. I appreciated the amazing views from the pool. The rooms were very spacious and gorgeous. The staff were cute. That was really nice.
I was not happy about the lack of hand towels. I asked for them, but my request was not met. That was annoying! The breakfast choices were limited. Some of the food was too salty too.

great views balcony well tended grounds best shower design defects sloppy management steep walkways
the room had great views from the balcony , so i enjoyed that. the grounds are well tended. hands down the best shower i came across during my trip , so i liked that.
i had to downgrade this beautiful hotel because of design defects and sloppy management. the walkways from the guest rooms to the dining room and the front desk areas can be too steep for the elderly. kandy can get cold at night , but there is no provision for heating the room.

spacious rooms friendly staff delicious sauce hard working staff
The rooms are spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the restaurant. Pizzas are made fresh and the sauce is delicious. My mum said it was the best pizza ever. I found Lahiru and Anuradha worked hard and was really nice for the guests.
I noticed the road to the location is narrow.
